 Fia's Story:
From the "Safe" Path
to Living her Truth
(Mechanical Engineer to
Intuitive Coach and Healer!)
"You're an Engineer and now you're a Spiritual
Coach and Healer?"
Yes, most people can't believe I've made such a
drastic change in my career, but the truth is that this career journey for me
has been more of a spiritual journey. It was a journey of uncovering my
truth and living it. And to be able to do that, the journey has involved
freeing myself from the lower patterns, fears and energies within me that kept
me trapped in a restricted reality.
The truth is, I didn't go from being a totally black
and white, left brained person, to totally right brained intuitive person
(although that's what the personality tests had shown!). My journey
involved more of setting aside the patterns that kept me to a "lesser me" I'd
created out of fear, and allowing my True Self to come out and shine...
I guess you could say that to best describe my
own journey, I went from totally suppressing
who I was and my true self out of fear, conforming to a “safe” path… to
living my truth and expressing myself, my creativity and my spirit on a
regular basis through doing the work that I love.
My journey was one of great inner transformation
and spiritual growth. It was a journey of healing, of letting
go of all of the old fears and ways of being I had that were holding me back
from being my true self easily and confidently.
Growing up, I knew how to excel in school and so that’s what I did. I
chose the socially acceptable career of Mechanical Engineering and
just pushed through it and "succeeded".
But things really began to change for me halfway through University when I came
across my first spiritual book. When I read this book that spoke of how the
world “really” works, something resonated deep within me.
I knew it was truth, my truth. It resonated
at my core and I felt my true path calling to me as I read and learned more and
more.
I was fascinated that you could discover things about how the Universe works and
about yourself that would literally change your life. I went from
experiencing the same old patterns that frustrated me, to watching my life shift
before my eyes.
So from this point on, I would say I knew my truth consciously. I knew I
wanted to help people grow and change in the rewarding ways as I had been
experiencing. And although I knew this, I feared it and still pushed forward
with my chosen career, finishing University and getting into the work world.
But I always felt something big was missing in my life. I felt empty in a
lot of ways and I couldn’t seem to shift this feeling. I was doing fine in my
career but always felt I was meant to do something more with my life.
But again, I was held back by fear… Am I
really good enough to do what I want? Will people accept me if I do this
different kind of work? How would I even start?
My intention to do the work I love grew stronger and I found the Universe
guiding me through creating this new life and career for myself. I was laid off from my job at the time and knew that
this was my time to follow my passion despite the fear and uncertainty I felt.
So I started Intuitions.
I’d like to say it was so easy and everything went perfect from then on, but it
didn’t. Looking back I see that I was controlled by fear and doubt. I ended up
going back to engineering part-time, which turned out to be exactly what I
needed.
Who I was then needed to change in order for me to fully, authentically and
successfully live my dream of doing what I love and serving others.
And that has been the greatest gift to me. In making
the transition from the old me to the new, more authentic, true self I knew I
was deep down, I walked the path that I now help my clients walk down.
I know the struggles, the fears, the doubts that
are faced when moving from the life you have to living your truth. I
know what it’s like to be stuck and to feel helpless and frustrated, not
knowing how I will ever make it, but so deeply wanting the change.
Knowing that nothing else would be good enough,
nothing else would do. Knowing what I wanted, but feeling like it was always
so far out of reach.
I thought this journey was about changing careers and creating a successful
business. But it was much more than that. It was a journey of spiritual growth
and expansion. It was a journey of healing, of letting go of all of the old
fears and ways of being that I discovered were shaped from when I was young and
from past lives.
As I had discovered, there was a reason I was so
fearful of doing this work that I love and allowing my true self to be exposed.
And I am so grateful to have been a Channel for such loving wisdom and
life-changing tools that have allowed me to quickly and easily let go of the
fears and energy of the past that kept me in restriction and living from fear.
And in this journey from feeling so
stuck and restricted to immense inner freedom and deep fulfillment, I created
the Light Your Path Process so I can truly help others who are feeling
stuck take their life and energy to a whole new level of freedom and
authenticity.
I also developed the
Intuitive Healing Process which is incredibly powerful and has
allowed me to help my clients release heavy, old, restrictive energetic patterns
within them that held their reality to these lower patterns.
And, even more exciting to me, I
have taught many of my Light Your Path Private Mentor Clients how to use this
powerful Intuitive Healing Process themselves, so they are fully
empowered to create be free of these lower, restrictive patterns and create the
important shifts they want to make in their lives. And the results
they experience amaze me.
In my own journey, I grew from that fearful, doubtful, insecure person who chose the “safe”
route, to the person I always knew I was... alive, radiant, passionate,
confident, a Spiritual Leader, Healer and Teacher who has what it takes to help
people create wonderful fulfilling change in their life from the inside out.
And I am so grateful to be doing this work and to
be living my most amazing life every single day.
To be helping people go through their life changes easily and joyfully rather
than struggling through it all alone as I did. To help them create the life
they love that is based in their truth and is an expression of who they really
are.
